HOMEPORTFOLIO

John Hibben has been a photographer most of his life. His love of photography began in High School. John was the official photographer for Lincoln High School located in Tacoma, WA. During his years at Lincoln, he photographed most of the school activities for the school paper, the Lincoln News, and the annual, The Lincolnian. He used a speed graphic with black and white film for these photographs.

John continued his love of photography while in college, at Washington State University, to help pay his tuition. During summers, he worked at Mt. Rainer for the Park Service and took many interesting photos of the park during the 1950s. Some of these pictures are now being used as roadside exhibits by the Park Service. A few of these pictures are displayed on this web site.

For several years John has been producing his own greeting cards for his clients while working. John is now retired, after 40 years as a financial consultant. He has continued his love for photography by starting a new career. John has developed a line of cards and framed photos utilizing his photography. His photographs are now available for sale in several local shops. Please contact John if you would like more information about purchasing some of his cards or photos.
